    I just got the ETW, NTW, and all DLC pack.

    Which should I play first ETW or NTW?

    Is the Darth mod a must for both?

    You'll have a hard time going back to ETW after playing NTW. Even though ETW has a much larger scope, and you have so many more countries and regions to choose from, you'll quickly get annoyed with the missing features from NTW if you're playing ETW. NTW looks much better and plays better. Install them both and play a couple of battles from both games to get an idea of what I'm talking about. If your computer is out-dated, then it doesn't matter as much.

    Agreed. I made the mistake of playing NTW first. I enjoyed it so much I then got ETW expecting to enjoy that equally. Unfortunately I found the gameplay clunky ( best word I can think of ) compared to NTW. The NTW tech tree is much cleaner & more interesting than that in ETW, & the 3D graphics are crisper IMO. Consequently I've hardly bothered with Empire at all.

    If I'd played ETW first I probably would have loved it to bits ( it's still a great game ) & then loved NAW even more. My point is, play Empire first & then after you've played that for a good while play Napoleon. That way your enjoyment of ETW will not be comprimised by the fact that NAW is the better game, again IMO.

    Agreed. If you want to play both go with Empire first. I put around 200 hrs into it and had a ball then played Napoleon. Napoleon just has little touches that make it much a better game, and less glitches even though I had very few with Empire. The battles in Napoleon have better atrillery effects - screen shaking, impact marks etc
