Please Help! Graphics Problem

I used to play Napoleon Total War just fine. Then, all of a sudden, as I entered the game one day, the map and battle fields (both land and naval) were full of layers of vetoral images of some kind. I can see city names and hear background music still. However, I cannot see anything except multiple layers of long vectoral images in different color. I tried to uninstall and install the game - this didn't help. Kindly advise what to do. Thank you.

Whenyou uninstalled and reinstalled the game, did you also delet the Creative Assembly folder in %appdata%?

No, I didn't delete anything.

Your problem sounds strange and don't really know what could cause this problem apart from your GPU but you will need to try a few things until you find the problem, such as uninstalling you graphics drivers and reinstalling them thats where i would start if i were you as you problem sounds graphics related, if it's not your drivers then it may be your hardware (GPU) overheating etc.

What graphics card do you own and have you verified the game cache in steam?

Odds are that is the problem. Delete it, and verify your game should take care of it.
