Default I can't reinstall Rome: Total War. Please Help me!!!!!

Hi there! I wasn't able to install the patch 1.2 so I did what the post about "installing the patch 1.2" said. But whenever I tried to uninstall the game my computer crashed. So I erased the Activision Folder manually. After that i deleted the "Activision" on Regedit. I searched for every rome total war file on my computer and I deleted them also. But now I'm not able to install the game. When I try to do it it asks me if I want to unistall the game and after that nothing happens... Can someone please help me?

I tried doing it twice, but its not possible. I think that the "cleaning program" advised on the post erased all that information. I downloaded it and he deleted a lot of files. I'm not complaining, I did it at my own risk. Is there any other solution to this problem? Like doing something manually on the "REGEDIT"?!

Editing ''REDEGIT'' is potentially hazardous for your computer, don't do it untill someone who knows a whole lot more about it than me tells you how to do it. Try the ''search'' option, I've seen this kind of thread more than one, maybe you'll find a solution in another one.

I seem to remember Rtw letting you install again (if you have a previous one) by opening the cd folder, finding setup... and running it manualy.

Thus allowing people to install more than one copy of the game.

I might be wrong though, ive never actualy had more than one copy of rtw.

ok after you uninstalled it, ccleaner.com and download the ccleaner, run it, you should wipe w/e is left, i can't rememver if it's the first or second tab, but just do both.

If you uninstall Rome Total War by deleting the folder in activision the Computer will think that it is still installed on to your computer. In order for you to re-install RTW You need to go in your all programs--> Activision --> uninstall Rome Total war and go through that process. I don't know why nothing is happening when you try to uninstall your program. You can also try the Add/remove programs feature in your control panel. When you start your uninstallation process it should say that it will take a few minutes to uninstall.

^^ woops never mind^^ see you got it already

Nice to see your problem was fixed, just don't double-post. Use the edit function.
