    Default Potential Reformator?

Hullo everyone! Here's my question: I am playing as the Romani and one of my family members has gained the trait "potential reformator". Is this for the Marian Reforms? And if so, I'm not even at year 172 B.C. and nowhere close to having 90 provinces. Can someone explain this? Will it happen anyway or what? He's 44 years old and its in the 220's B.C. right now. I'm going to play it out, but I'm just confused on how this is working.

If you can keep him alive until 172 he could be your Reformator. Fifty years is a long shot, though.
I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.

I think there should be a cheat for him. No one in RTW or any of its mod could live for more than 90 years

Actually, the hardcoded limit is 128.

Rate of what? And I've personally had many generals that lived to their 80s.

hm rate of chances of dying a natural death?
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.

My oldest living general was 106 when he died. It was in XGM, most of my generals in EB live to between 75-85 but i don't really keep track since with 4tpy script a man who lives to 70 will have had roughly 220 turns which is a lot of time compared to 1tpy. I like that since it means a 50yo is no longer useless as he likely has over 40 turns before he dies, though in EB it is nice that the older men get frail and worse at campaigning.

As to the original question i would have to say the best bet is have everything ready for 172, and if he lives then it's good if not you'll still have a chance to use the next guy. 94 is rather old, if there are any ancillaries that increase lifespan i'd give them to him, other then that just hope for the best.
Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.

Well thanks for the info. Sadly enough the Ptolemies went and killed him in a battle. I auto-resolved it because it was really minor. Somehow though he was a casualty. Now I'm trying to get another person that carries the same traits. Rather hard though. :\ I've got about 20 years now until the reform date. Might just take over Gaul and see where that gets me in respect to just brute forcing it with 90 provinces.

Look not above, there is no answer there; Pray not, for no one listens to your prayer; Near is as near to God as any Far, And Here is just the same deceit as There.

And do you think that unto such as you; A maggot-minded, starved, fanatic crew: God gave the secret, and denied it me?-- Well, well, what matters it! Believe that, too.
