    no worries, glad to help.

    err, about dmuc compatability. now because it is just a startpos file, if you put in the DMUC_UMain folder (replacing the original) and do not touch the changing turns per year function on the launcher, then it will work.

    however, obviously i cant tell for how many people it does work for because they tend not to say its not working, but one or two people have said that if they use a dm startpos in dmuc they sometimes get errors. so if you have dmuc id say give it a try. if it doesnt work again for any reason, give us a shout and i'll try to make a DMUC mexico starpos

    Awesome, so when i put it there like you said, which campaign should i use? Because i donŽt know what U-; L-; C-main( those are the other folders) stands for?

    okok i guess it stands for Ultimate, Late and Custom

    so i started the Ultimate campaign and the turns were already on 4/year but i started ... with the same greyedout situation.
    you can even see the mexican royal family and can declare war but not interact with anything else. shall i put it on 1turn a year or does it not be changed after i put the .esf file in there?

    hello,

    regarding the greek startpos, it will not be for at least a week as im a bit busy. of course if i get some time i'll try to knock it out as soon as possible.

    Louisiana isnt an emergent faction, so it will not apear on this thread. however, as it is a starting faction, it is playable with either the monster startpos or the complete tech startpos (link in sig for downloads and more info) alongside all other minor nations, including if i remeber correctly Hessen, Hungary and Naples-Sicily. however you will need to use the custom scripting.lua (included in download) to stop Louisana/new spain/13 colonies from getting handed over, effectively ending your game.

    Can make a mod for scotland and greece and mamelukes, also all the rest off the emergent nation. And sorry for my bad english, english isnt my strongest language. :p

    hello everybody.

    im momentarily back and have knocked up a mameluke DMUC startpos as it has two requests, so here it is. (on the DMUC download post, post 3)

    details;
    start 1700,
    2 turns per year,
    Victory conditions added and Fog of War removed
    Mamelukes allied and have trade agreement with ottomans, (being a protectorate would mean that you wouldnot be able to declare war on anyone independantly and it causes you to spend half your money a turn paying your protectors)

    Thank you very much for your effort, I download the files and play Mamlukes, but I find it lack one techology which will enable it to recuit some units, the "european doctrine", Is it still playable?

    Hello there.

    The startpos is playable and features everything above, except obviously the 'european doctrine' technology. now i know that it is possible to add the technology to the mamelukes, however i dont know how. however do not be deterred, as i think Husserltw's easy esf beta can do this, here is the link to it,

    Just an update,

    Greek startpos is on the drawing board, however, im pretty sure that somewhere is a full on greek mod for DMUC and im quite sure that Greece is included in the quite excellent Causa belli mod. if it is id get that as that has lots of lovely units. mmmm lovely units
