    has no one else problems with playing mexico? when i start the campaign, the screen placed on ivory coast. mexico is still belonging to new spain on the map and i dont see any information in whatever window, like government,... the only things i can see are the other countries with diplomacy menu, but just if i change 3 times between register "small" and "major" factions, and i see the buildings in the list, but i cant control them because they are owned by new spain...

    i tried with dm 6.8 and with dmNUS 6.8 ...

    great i was looking for Mexico startpos from beginning of empire that i found your startpos mod now, is fantasic...
    since i tried it out, the same prob happen to me like the quoted text with DM.
    did i miss something?

    Would you mind uploading a startpos for DM that has the 13 colonies replaced by the US?
    I would like to start at 1700 rather than later on.

    PS: And make the US an independent nation, i.e. not allied or a protectorate of GB.

    i did see and its on the list, i have to do them fairly, in order of peoples requests.

    The list
    - DMUC Greece
    - DM USA
    - DMUC Mexico

    so it will be done soon

    Ive got your other mod:Monster Startpos and i wanna play as the USA because they've got decent units, and im wondering if the USA startpos on this will cause conflicts because i have your other mod.

    Hello damp,

    it is possible to have both simultaneously if you put the the USA startpos in the custom campaign file (DMUC_CMain instead of DMUC_UMain), that way, USA will be playable in the custom campaign and the mosnter startpos will be playable in the ultimate one. however, it is critical that you do not attempt to load a save game started in one campaign, eg custom, in the other, eg ultimate, as this can lead to ctd's and corrupt saves, i would recommend clearly labelling each save game with which campaign you play it on to avoid perhaps drunken laxes of memory

    Just tried USA for DMUC. Works really fine! Thanks! Really like it, that you put some more nations to the prestige ranking, that would be nice for your other startpos too!

    I'd like to have Mexico for DMUC too (still dont work with DM). And Ireland or Scotland (they are both great ) for DMUC would be fantastic.

    I just made this account to ask help. I am dealing with a problem that occurred to me recently. I downloaded Norway and it work perfectly fine until the year 1710. After that year, I pressed end turn and after the pirate flag, a CTD happened. So I restarted the game again, load up my Norwegian campaign, end turned, then the same thing happens.

    What I did in the campaign was captured a city in Canada (I forgot the name) somewhere near New Newfoundland. I am using a 4 - turns per year which I think wouldn't have any effect maybe?

    So please, if anyone could help my problem, I would gladly appreciate it!

    I am using DMUC 7.0 at the moment.

    Is it possible to have more than one emergent faction enabled in the campaign? I never see any mods that enable multiple emergent factions.

    hello everyone,

    managed to cobble together enough time to knock out a DMUC Norway and relese an old one i made for the pirates. (the pirate one has all the problems that are unavoidable with the pirates; fow, no diplomatic relations, no trading

    Here it is (on DMUC release thread, post 3)

    Nice! It's a lot of fun to subdue that feeble Brits with Norge


    But am I wrong or is it a bit buggy? Firstly I can't have trade agreements with more than two nations. I own the British islands, therefore I have enough trade harbours (I have also researched the right things), but the sea trading routes don't become active. Secondly, when I build Indiaman trade ships, they haven't got the ability to trade. They have no coin symbol and they just lay anchored at the trading spots without any happening. (Or could this maybe be a DMUC bug? Haven't tried it yet.)


    But really nice work Captain Look forward to playing the other emergents too! And please list other nations to the prestige rankings too. I think it would always be very nice to have that nation you are playing in the ranking, even if it is a minor nation.


    BTW: why don't you name the USA startpos in "USA, Hungary, Neaples&Sicily"? They are well playable I guess?

    You have to have a trading port that is connected to your capital. Otherwise you can only trade via land.

    Im at turn 36 with Norway, it keeps crashing no mather what I do. The only difference I did in that turn was ro capture a region in India, when I selekt end turn, it crash.

    Wait a few turns then take the city. That should fix it.
