ATI Taskbar Notification: Where Art Thou?

So I've got what seems like a really simple problem here, but I can't quite seem to crack it. My notifications which should display in the taskbar (bottom-right) are running well, only when I select my ATI graphics driver notification to always display, it's simply not there. Can't think of any reason why it wouldn't as it did do in the past. Currently using a screen with a resolution of 1154x654 while from the taskbar notification says 1024x760 and the monitor's resolution is supposed to be 1440x990! So you can imagine it's not the best scenario. From my past experience, I need to make it appear in the taskbar in order to access the advanced options thus changing it. Until then, all my graphics work is extremely skewed and detail is lost...

Check if it's not disabled or something by some external program that you use or check in "msconfig">startup.
And about the wrong resolution that just a display icon saved when you installed it first so no problem in that.

Checked on the Startup list and it doesn't appear. As far as I'm aware there are no programs which could be blocking it.

Have you tried uninstalling the old ones, running Rdivr Sweeper, and then installing a fresh download?

All the years I had ATI, I never had the notification icon.
