Playing as Egypt, Jerusalem rebels now?

I'm playing the crusades campaign as Egypt. When King Baldwin died, the Jerusalem faction was destroyed and all Jerusalem's armies (inc. Richard the Lionheart's crusading army left with just the general's unit) were vastly reduced, and all its cities, including Jerusalem itself, became rebel cites with Muslim garrisons. Is this meant to happen? It seems 1. a bit too easy and 2. a bit unrealistic

Well, if the faction doesn´t have any family members (from the family tree) left, it is destroyed.

If you don´t have it the beginning of the game, I don´t think so.
The guy was a jerk anyway, so it´s not exactly a loss...

(I have not played Jerusalem, so I´m not too familiar with them in the Crusaders campaign)

Sadly you hav the Guy, but he wont become king before he is like 60 years old, or dead, because Baldwin your starter king is 16 years old at the start of the game (he also have awesome stats, and the first general i maxed

)
