What dificulty settings i should play on RTR 6.3 ?

I remember when i played 1.2 rtw version there was a "bug" were M was harder than H.. this apply to RTR?

On the other hand, what settings do you recommend? i don`t want a very hard game, were it get frustrating.. but i don`t want a walk in the park either.

PS, I`m a experience player.... but this will be my first time with RTR.

It's basically the same as vanilla RTW 1.2. The majority of RTR players say that VH for campaign and medium for battles produce the best results. I myself play VH, VH and the game seems just right for me.

I think i`ll play H/M then, i just can`t stand the CHeating AI on the campaign. What do you think?

I have no problem with the AI cheating; I prefer them to have the advantage at all times. Doing that makes the game more challenging for me.

I used to think the same... but i don`t want any more challenge, i want realism and it`s not realisitc that way...
But thank you for your opinion, i`ll rememeber it. Maybe someday i go back to VH..

i play RTR6.0 Gold wiht VH/M, which i think is proper for me, for i do not like too difficult battle for me, and i also prefer strategic campaign to the DIFFICULt battle.

I used to play on VH/VH but currently I'm palying on H/H. On hard campaign the AI only given bonus about 5K so they don't quite spam their armies stack after stacks with cheap but weak units.

On H campaign for example I found Macedonia usually recruit more HYpastes then stupid phalanx on VH. More challenging to me.
