Why can't spies see Princesses traits?
I've always been curious about this. Is it hardcoded? I don't see that the traits are hidden on the princesses. I'd like to be able to use my spies to see if I should even bother creating a marriage alliance. You can get a general idea that princesses have higher than average charm, so you know they have some good traits, but I really hate to saddle my heirs with some with really negative traits.
In some games, I've sent out my princesses to seduce generals, but often, even with really high charm from negotiating trade and alliances, they still fail.
The alternative is to marry them to my own generals. I guess that's what most people do.

You can see the traits on an AI princess has if you spy on her.

close this. I'm an idiot. I modified some feature of spying by accident, and it stopped me from seeing princesses attributes. It's working again.
