well im not sure if this is a bug but here is my problem, on the campain map all the names of my generals and armies are right under them(so when 7 armies are right beside each other...thats a lot of names XD) and the city names are not there unless i hover over them. is there anyways to make the names of the cities always show up and the names of generals and armies to be 'hidden' until i hover over them or select them?

    thanks

Are you talking about, on the strat map?? If so I would reinstall. That sounds like a corrupt install.

@eidius: Do you have any other mods installed? Do you have the same problem with vanilla Medieval II?

Ooooooooh this happened to me too. It happens when you accidently press a special hotkey, saddly I do not know what hotkey it is. It happened to me two times, until I accidently pressed the keys again. I say left hand of keyboard.

@Bela: as a matter of fact yes, after running vanilla MT2(cant believe how boring it looks) the cities names do not appear until i hover over them and the unit names are showing.
and yes i do have another mod installed, it is called Broken Crescent but the installation file is messy because both vanilla and this mods files are intertwined and there is no way i can tell apart which is which.

@Russian Gondor: lol please try to remeber XD

is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling anything?
    thanks

Sorry but I truly doubt it. Think of it this way. A fresh install leads to more stable game play
