lol i cant find the IDX extractor download. i went to the video and the video gave me a link and when i went to the link it says something about security token or and if its broken so i have to contact an administrator.
Google "medieval 2 idx extractor"
When I run the program it doesn't show up as a folder, it says the music is extracted but there is no new file.
Even when I check for recently changed programs nothing shows up.
Assistance please, I am obsessed with that viking tribal song and need it for use at work, at home, and while I'm asleep.
edit: damn i just noticed this topic has been necro'd from 2011 lol
The extractor is at twcenter. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=32

Note: I am using the Xidx extractor tool by Vercingetorix, there is no extract location.
I have xidx.exe in the sounds folder where the music.dat file is at. I also have a extract_sounds.bat file. By right clicking on it I added in bold at the end of the first line; " .\xidx.exe -x sfx Music". So now it extracts both the sound effects and music files.
