Underworld and Fuzzy AAR

(This will be a continuation of our earlier austria-russia campaign)

Me and fuzzy will coordinate in writing this AAR


Prologue: Our story begins in late August 1805, directly after the bloodless conclusion of the Austro-Russian war. The Austrians Led by Francis Ferdinand, prevailed over the Russian armies by means of diplomacy alone. Ferdinand strong armed all of Russia's allies to halt trade with it, destroying its's economy. As the Austrian armies neared the Russian frontier, with the Russian armies in a state of collapse due to desertion and defeats by the Ottoman empire, Alexander the 1st, czar of Russia, is forced to sue for peace. Instead of delivering the hammerblow and ordering Archduke Charles to storm across the Russian frontier, Francis agrees. This decision causes massive outrage among the Austrian nobles; they had expected an easy defeat of Russia, and the riches to be pilfered from a crumbling Russian empire; some nobles even use this as an excuse to break away from the empire and form states of their own. The most prominent of these occurs in the Balkans, and charles hurries back to crush the rebellion before it can spread any further. These developments anger Francis, he wonders if the nobles cannot see the massive threat that is france, lead by that monster Napoleon Bonaparte. Russia and Austria will need to work together to subdue France, only once Napoleon has been confined to a cage, will Francis finally unleash his forces against the unsuspecting Russians, now mobilizing to fight the growing French threat.


The Russian people are in a downspin with the humiliation that Austria has dealt and with the massive defeats to the filth of the ottoman army and Austrian. But there is a bright side and Czar Alexander 1 see’s that opportunity and that is to take revenge against the ottomans pillaging every resource that they have and making them pay for the trivial fight that they put up against the great Russian empire. Then there is napoleon the monster of the west his armies seem unstoppable his resources unlimited but there is a weakness and that is arrogance, and an even greater weakness his massive reliance on the ottoman empire and its see routes. Although the Russian people may be humbled by the losses their army is still strong their pride is great and a unifying chant among all Russians URAH Russians let it ring out across the plains of the mid east, URAH let it ring out in the streets of Paris let every enemy and allie of Russia hear the great war cry URAH. URAH RUSSIANS ON TO VICTORY FOR THE MOTHER LAND FOR THE CZAR URAH!!!
