    Default adulteri templum

    Name: Sextus Silius Octobrianus

    Age: 35
Currently governor of Sicily, OoC where romans go to get drunk.
    Character Bio:

Political: A strong and courageous, if somewhat dimwitted senator who got into his position more because of his loose wallet than smarts. Although Sextus can be smart and quick-thinking when needed, this isnt his everyday attitude.

Casual: Sextus has an avid pursuit of staying at the temple for long hours, although he is rarely seen. He is also known to have a gambling problem and is known to avidly gamble and splurge whenever there is a race at the Hippodrome. He is also prone to bad luck with these ventures...

Ambitions: He has an extreme distaste for barbarians, especially those of Northern Italy, in Cisalpine Gaul.

Sextus immediately began to regret his decision to go to lucius as soon as he shut the door, yet he knew no one else to go to. That and the spanish spy was back! He had barely beleived his eyes. Now though he knew he would have to dispose of him because now he waas putting himself at risk. He readied the new blade he had ordered straight from the weaponsmiths. It had cost him 2 good slaves, but it was well worth it. They had claimed it was the future of the army, but he doubted it, because who has 2 slaves to give for a sword? Either way it didn't matter. Neither did the life of the celtiberean he was about to kill. All for a cause he told himself, all for the cause.

Sextus arrived at the temple, finally, after a long night and day. He had bribed numerous people on his way around Rome, and then (after following numerous dead ends) he found the spy. He was in an inn near the Serbian Wall. Once he made sure the Celtiberean was in his room, he then went to the nearest guard post and claimed that the man had attacked him and stolen a large amount of money, and that he suspected that the man was Celtiberean, an enemy of the state. The guards reacted faster than he had expected. They had surrounded the inn that the spy was in and then went in. They pulled out a dead body. Sextus was more than happy to see the Celtiberean with a dagger in his heart! The guards said that he heard them coming on the stairs and must have killed himself, so Sextus slipped Away quietly as the fingers of dawn spread across the horizon. When he finally returned to the temple, he found Lucius there. Half asleep in the waiting room. 'This day keeps getting better' thought Sextus as he awoke Lucius. "I'm terribly sorry i was delayed Lucius, i ran into a...problem that required my attention to be taken care of. Now then, before the sun is high in the sky, let us get down to why i asked you to come."

A messenger arrives to the temple, carrying a scroll:

We must discuss some things on private. I can say only one thing to you now: do not try to reach glory too early. Remember what happened to the Gracchus, for example.

Sextus came back to the temple knowing he had had one too many. As he reviewed the night in his head, he smiled. There had been a slave following him,it was very apparent as the man stopped trying to hide himself after sextus had gotten drunk. So had put a knife in his back and slipped his body in the Tiber after walking over to him and asking if the slave could walk Sextus home. He couldn't have people following him around, especially if it was a senator who had sent the man. As he was opening the door to the temple, a messenger arrived and handed Sextus a letter. The letter was written in cipher and so was impossible to decode without one and there were only two that had the one for this leetter. Sextus and a man who's body was floating down the Volga as the writer and the composer were two different people. So sextus opened the temple and went in to get the cipher. The messenger then walked around the side to the building to a small opening that allowed air and sun in.
