Female NTW Players?

There was a story in the news today stating that 40% of people who play video games are female, and it got me thinking.

I've never met a female NTW player myself, or at least anyone that I knew was female.

Is there a large female demographic for this game, and that plays online multiplayer? Any clans with female players?

I met 2, one only played for like 80 hours before leaving total war. The other girl plays quite a bit.

The only girl i met is intangible from MGL and she is very good, although there are lots of ppl i have seen with female names although they could just be wierd.

I definitely know of three, two of them playing mostly naval though IIUC.
My vids are at about 90% male viewership.

yea, Intangible is the best female player. The other one I tried to help but failed pretty bad lol. Oh well.

I think more like 10% of video game players are female, that is unless the are counting like wii fitness and other such games.

on pc gaming, women are going to be playing a lot of flash games, the quick ones. things like farmville and such. im sure the figure is a lot lower for full screen pc games.
also, women love the wii.probably because its the most comfortable way to get 'fit', but there you have it. then again, my mum never went near a ps3, so the wii has some serious lady appeal.

go into a gamers cafe and you will see a fair few ladies playing some pretty full on games they are mostly Asian though,all the chicks playing the sims would push up the female gamer community numbers a fair bit as well because its one of the best selling games.

ah yes - i didnt think of the sims - both my daughters play about as much sims as noodles and i play NTW and Black ops.

Gaming is for guys. Not trying to be sexist or anything.
