Default Might be a stupid question, but...

How do I move my units forward in battle without taking them out of position? I like to move my army forward, but they're always either in a different formation, or they're in the same formation facing a different direction.

Click the right mouse button where you want to move your unit, then keep holding the right mouse button and drag it across and alter the formation like so.

If you want to move the entire army forward, then simply clicking once with the right mouse button should leave them in the same formation. I think your problem might be that you click multiple times. If you want to check how their positions will look once they've finished moving, hold the space bar.

Grouped units will always move in formation. The only variable they will change is the width of the formation, you can narrow or widen it. Try grouping your entire army and then move them.
