Lithuania Super Assassins
All I have to say is W T F! I lost 8 Generals in 8 turns and lost the game as the Tuetonics. By my 3rd lost general I started putting Assassins/Spies with the ones I had left and that did nothing. Just kept getting wiped out by their super assassin.
Reloaded games did nothing. Had to start over
Anyone else have to deal with something like that?

Is anyone else thinking Geshia?
Anyway. No. That has never happened to me. I do it myself sometimes, but it's fairly easy to keep generals safe if they are falling prey to a cloak and dagger.
A boat.

Re: Lithuania Super Assassins
nope.i never had more than 2 family members killed by assasins.usually its agents that i lose.try to keep your generals far from each other.and of course recruit spies to flush him out and buld assasins for yourself.as soon as you have a good one you can kill him.

Re: Lithuania Super Assassins
I just wasnt expecting the guy to jump from 1 general to the next non stop. I had Lithuania on the ropes, took half their territory in 1 turn and they were down to their last 3 or 4 provinces so I had everyone on the front because Russia was next. First time this has ever happened since the game first came out ugh

Re: Lithuania Super Assassins
You could do the same thing.
Train with princesses first, then diplomats/merchants, then spies/assassins and you can wipe out an entire faction in 20 turns.
Specially useful when you control access to the faction's remains (e.g. Spain, Portugal and vice versa ; HRE, Denmark; Milan, Sicily; etc.).

Re: Lithuania Super Assassins
I almost lost once due to family members dying. I pressed end turn, and then I got 5 messages saying my faction leader had died. Each succesor had died immediately. Left me with 2 family members. Not sure if it was assasins though.
