Changing the starting year
Lets say I edit the starting year of the late campaign to 1300. The gunpowder event and many others start before that, so would I have to edit the events in any way? If so, how? What else would I have to do to? Also, how can I make it so that at the start of a campaign, gunpowder units and cannons are available?
EDIT: oops, it looks like i posted this in the wrong place. Can someone move it 4 me

Re: Changing the starting year
Events are tied to years after the start date, so anything that is supposed to happen before your start date put 0 for the date.
SS has many different recruitment requirements, and it's not easy to fix it so you get gunpowder early. The easiest way is to use Disable RR and then see here on how to unlock gunpowder

edit:any events after your start date need to be modified as well if you want them to happen normally. Get out that calculator! Subtract all dates by 80 if you start in 1300. (using the late campaign file)
