    TroyTW is dorment and will be until we get a mapper, and some coders to code units, traits, ancillaries, factions and cultures.


    Sorry to all of our fans but i can't be a one man team, and too much coding is needed for our only volunteer who has stayed with the team.

    If anybody wants the units to revive the mod then pm me, we don't even have a site where i can upload the work we have done

    I would rather not throw them to the wind so to speak, and reserve all rights for my own units that feature in TTW. I will ony release them to anybody who wants to start up the mod again and get it finished.

    I really hope you find some able modders to finish the mod because it would be a shame if all that hard work was for nothing. Pinned!

    How big are the files? I can host them on my website if you don't have any place to host them yourself. Im afraid its the only way I can help since I can't code.

    You should consider releasing them to the public if you don't find a coder. Or at least give them into the hands of a trusted mod team. It would be a shame if all of your work were wasted. But I do also understand your objections to that.

    I would like to say once more that TroyTW will welcome anybody and everybody who can code units into BI by replacing the units already in BI. If we get enough people with these skills then we will certainly release some sort of version.

    did somone say coder, i have some experiance in coding, i could help if you want, altough some stuff i don't quite get i can always learn, and i can make maps altough i hate making them... so boring.... anyways if you want my help just PM me.

    hope this mod comes back from sleeping.

    im looking through the files of the normal rtw (family names) and seeing connection to the campaign. I will perhaps do family names if i work it out.

    The mod is dead. It is pointless to continue as everybody wants the work done but nobody wants/is able to do it.

    TroyTW is dead.

    For God's sake man hold on longer! Start getting contacts with the modders around here, talk to them, ALL of them, THERE ARE BOUND TO BE SOME CODERS WILLING TO HELP! A few "We need coders topics!" isnt going to do it! You need to start actively searching out coders!

    It's really weird to see such a mod, started long time ago, dieing.

    I don't think I can do a lot of things this week, Im in holidays at my parents and this comp is not my modding platform, but next week I would have more time. So just give me models, skins, and one faction to code, with the previously build text, etc... if no CTD, it can go VERY fast to code out all your units. I would know also the way your coders work exactly, for Arthurian TW Im the only one codding units and if it gives me work, it makes things easier with no work to 'merge'.

    BTW, codding units is really easy. ALL your fans who are able to use the notepad can do it. There are very good tutorials on TWC and the Org, and if needed I can re-explain the way to do it.

    There are no real differences between codding RTW and BI, in BI files are just under bi/data/ and are unpacked.

    I can't help for traits and map so far, but I really invite people that can do to do so. Traits can't take too much time, the only hard thing here is the map. But at least with working units you can then balance the unit stats in custom battles.

    I agree, coding is easy..the only thing is that its a tedious and long task to acomplish.

    If it's that easy someone please link me to osme tutorials and someone please explain it all to me. Cuz I will definately do it.

    Umm.. btw, will I need RTW&BI installed to do it? My RTW disc is scratched and I dont have BI.
