    Icon11 TATW 2.0 unit help! please

    Hi, im wondering if there is any way to make Orc Marauders trainable by Mordor. because when i type in the create_unit cheat and i go into battle as mordor with them, they are all metalic and silver!. is it because orc maraduers are a Orcs of Gundabad unit? if so could someone please tell me how to mod my TATW 2.0 to make them trainable as mordor at the Baracks without being all silver and shiny and actually look normal!

    i would find it very helpful and kind if someone could please help.

    Add "england" to this part of the orc marauders unit stats in "export_descr_unit"

    it's a bit more complicated than that, actually. You also need to edit the battlemodels.modeldb in your data\unitmodels folder. There you have to find the model for that unit (you can find it's name in the export_descr_unit file). once there, you need to add england next to portugal in the faction ownership line, but remember to put the character count at the beginning of the line otherwise your game will crash.

    thanks u guys! but one more question whats a character count

    By using notepad. And a character count is the number at the start of the line, this is the number of letters and numbers in that particular sentence.

    is that what everythings supposed to look like?
    and i cant find the orc maruaders models in it please help! please tell me how to read this stuff and another thing the file battlemodels_modeldb has renamed itself to battle_models

    You should use the edit button if you want to say something and you were the last one to post on the thread

    I think you need a program that opens the kind of file this one is. (you should wait for a better answer from an more informed person tough )

    Oh thanks! I figured it out after 1and a half hours searching for it (but I had to delete the portugal ownership because I wasent quite sure how to make both england and portugal have ownership over the orc marauders) there isone tiny little problem the unit card shows a roman peasant and the flag bearer is a orcs of gundabad flag bearer and is all shiny and metallic is there away to make a orc marauder mordor flagbearer without being shiny?
