    Default Help with adding unit

    Hey fellas;
    I got a problem.I am trying to add the bc 2 units to my crusade based mod project and CTD even without seeing the game opening screen.
    Here are the files ı edited

    If there are no obvious errors in your log then it will most likely be a battle_models problem. If you like you can show us the entries you have added, and use [code] tags so we can check the spaces.

    Battle_models can be hard to work with if you haven't checked any tutorials. If you've added a load of model entries to it then take them all out and do it again one by one, checking as you go. If you can get one right then you can probably do the rest, but keep checking as you go unless you like repeating your work.

    describe us what happening. As wrote Taji modelldb is the most frequent cause of problems but it could be something different.
    For example if you cannot see units on the battlefield is very likely you've made mistake in EDU (armour_ug_models line) or if unit is mercenary you could not add mercenary_unit attribute.

    it's not a big problem It's a syntax error. First you should check correspondence between number in front of each of lines. Second you schould corespondence between files (models, textures, sprites) and path to them.
    If it's OK it could be much more hard to find and fix.
    So i think the best way would be making it again but use to this not copied entry from mod you using. Use any entry from your own modeldb and change it carefuly and properly.

    Check this line for armenian_light_spearmen:
    16 -0.090000004 0 0 -0.34999999 0.80000001 0.60000002
    i think there miss the pause in the end of the line.
    check all of lines looking for missed or excessed pause. Normaly each of lines should end by one pause exept of textures lines ending by "0". Them need two pauses.
    And next time do not add more then one unit before checking.

    I click on the exe. to run the game the screen goes black and then "pling" voice heard and ı am on the destkop.The interesting part there is no error on the log file

    Actually ı am professional on the unit subject but ı had this interesting problem this one.I tried it one by one and this time ı took thhe warning of you exceed the number of recor in descr_unit.It is kind of weird

    'Professional' huh? ... I wonder if you know what that word means (CA are the 'professionals' )

    You have actually added 13 unit model entries, not 2 like you say, is that your intention? Did I misunderstand?

    The max you can have in EDU is 500 units.

    OK gotcha - I understand now

    Like Irishron has already pointed out, you have exceeded 500 units in your EDU. It's a hardcoded limit, you will have to remove some units.

    Read the last line of your log. You have more than 500 units in the EDU.

    My problem step to anather stat;
    I did as you said and delete a unit which ı dont think to use and add my unit as you said and now the system log file is giving irrelevant message to me as an error.Also now when ı try to enter battle field it kick me out with ctd while loading bar almost reach to full .Help please
