By our Roman laws, the two consuls cannot run again the next year. It is customary to take their leave and govern a province. Therefore I ask the censor to remove their candidacies for consulship. There are able enough senators to be nominated and become consuls. I would remind you that I have experience in warfare and would be fit enough to take on the Carthaginians. As you yourself have stated, you haven't - so why risk our troops in the hands of inexperienced leaders. I do not doubt your courage and will, only your abilities.

I think the Consuls are planning on handling that personally,though I think Aspis doesn't have the game,so if he gets elected ask him.

You get your provincial garrisons and troops to defend yourself, and to chaase away attacking enemies into their originating regions. After that you need to talk to the senate about what to do.

In sicily you won't see action I think. You will build stuff, and allowed to recruit troops to defend yourself.
In sicily you might get attacked by the syracusans though, so you might want to try and get somes troops to defend yourself. You could also build a watch tower near them with your budget.
