How can i remove jav capability from ere kataphractoi in BC????

Hi, i was wondering if & how can i remove the jav missile capability from the ere Kataphracts in bc2.02 , i'd prefere to keep my kataphractoi as 'shock' heavy cavalry only rather than both, cos sometimes they screw my charge as they stop to throw their javs only to maybe kill 1 or 2 guys, for jav cavalry i can use Trapezitae jav cavalry & they won't run out of javs as quickly as the kataphracts

can anyone tell me how to remove the jav capability from them???

Use alt+right click to attack with the secondary weapon.

Otherwise you have to edit the model.

lol i'v been playing total war games for over a year & i had no idea i could just switch to secondary weapon by using alt+right click

You're welcome. Press F1 when you're in a battle, it lists the keys for you. There's many useful shortcuts, and other features which can only be accessed via the keyboard.

Recently I was showing a friend my work, he's someone who has poured many hours into playing TW games, and he'd never seen the effect of pressing spacebar (future positions of player units displayed). Nevermind a year, this guy had been playing TW games since shogun. It's good to check that F1 screen

Yes in fact not long ago i opened the F1 menu not because i knew but because i hit F1 accidentally
to be honest i didn't read them all, also by accident i found how to rotate a unit or the whole army clockwise or counter clockwise by pressing ',' & '.' its really usefull in certain circumstances
