    Icon5 problems with windowed mode

    hello,
sry if this was already discussed somewhere, I couldn't find anything...

My problem with windowed mode is that if I start the game with windowed mode on, the game is just on the left part of the screen (about 2/3 of my monitor). I saw that other people also had this problem but couldnt find a way to solve it.

when I start the game in windowed mode the resolution is always set to 1280x1024 while I need 1920x1080 + widescreen. So I change those while in windowed mode and apply the changes but then my mouse cursor does seem to bug, I cant click anything. By using the esc button I can return to the menu but cant leave the game thus I'm not able to change the resolution because I have to close the game by altf4. I also tried auto detect, same problem here.

If anyone has a suggestion I would be very thankful, I could really use the extra stability of windowed mode.
    Thx in advance

Depending on your OS bring up your task manager after changing settings. Close CoW by selecting end process. Relaunch game should be good. Or you can edit your medieval2.preference.cfg and change battle_resolution = 1280 1024 campaign_resolution = 1280 1024 widescreen = 1 Hope this helps
