    Default Drummers and Fifers

I have found that many of my regiments whilst marching have drummers and fifers yet fail to even both with the fife and just give a go on their drum instead, with that very dull and drab drumroll. Is there any way to include the fifing on all regiments with drummers and fifers (maybe increase the sound channel from 128 to 200-and-whatever)?

Also, the Prussian regiments lack both decent uniforms (I don't mean immense detail, just some, they seem more bland than the Bavarians) and a drum and fifer. Are there any modifications that will give them some better uniforms and drums and fifers, because those are the only hubbubs I have with the Prussians.

    Any response is appreciated.

I have done, for a while. However, they're either bizarrely named, clash with other modifications or include extra junk that I don't want in my game.

The first infantry unit with a fifer begins moving will be the one that plays the fife tune. This is is to remove music spam because of lack of syncronization between units. Brigadier Graham has some mods that removes the drumroll for better drum marches.

Also, see my hats mod. May help your Prussian problem.

Yes, I have the hats modification, thank you. I mean, I would use Brigadiers, and I did for a while and it's great work, but I dislike the use of big brass band music, I just want drum and fife music.

Graham has also made a drumroll replacement mod too.

The Prussians look dull my friend, because in this period the Prussian Army was changed into a modern fighting force, and as Napoleon forced restrictions on them(they were like a protectorate) they didn't have money to spend on the flashing lace and pelisses, etc.

It may that CA is being historical.

Very true! The Prussians are boring! I want to return to a game I accidently deleted, a British campaign where I ruled half of Europe (with protectorates) and it was a coalition of:

Great Britain, Belgium, Hanover, Catalonia, Italy, Russia (destroyed by 1810)
    vs
Prussia (took over Russia 1810), Austria, Ottoman Empire, Denmark, Sweden... and strangely, Romania.

There is a very good mod by General Cornwallis, just look on his profile. It adds some historical units, in pre 1806 Prussian uniforms, you might like this, there is also a British and Austrian one.
