    Default Republicans Unite!

and drive these liberal, america-hating, non-religious "people" from earth

ok seriously though. i have noticed that it seems like the entire media on TV (except for FOX) is liberal. also it seems to me like most newspapers are liberal and the Republican party is downright trashed on the media.

for example: the democrats ethics bill in the congress looked exactly like the GOP one, yet on MSNBC (a supposedly moderate station) they invited all these people on to say how many loopholes the GOP bill has and how perfect the democrats bill was

i, as a proud republican, stand up for my party and my beliefs against these liberals trying to unseat us. i am not saying i am perfect, that the GOP is perfect. but at least we fight for what we believe in.

ps: this isn't a flame thread. just a place where republicans can vent and our liberal members can critisize us

I'm not a democrat, but my mindset and thinking is very liberal and left-leaning so I guess I can speak for the liberals here...

Wtf are you talking about anyway? really the only difference I see between republicans and democrats is the people who choose to be down with this clique or choose to be down with that clique. Whatever, we're all patriots and I think we all want to remake the government in some small way, nearer to our own vision. Or in Bush's case, in a large way. Hah! ok sorry that was a partisan crack at the republicans expense....But really, I think a party is only as good as its weakest link...which happens to be the extreme right or left people who make their marks. I do not like christian infleunces I see in the republican party, I see that as extremist, so thats really one of the big reasons I do not like the republicans we have in power now and the general trend I'm seeing in the republican party nowadays. I do not like the tendency of Democrats of acting as the "option b" party, weak willed, uncertain...detached from reality. I dont percieve the democratic party as being united or as a legit threat to the republicans...whatever the republicans want, the republicans get...unless of course the democrats throw a hissy fit in the media or whatever. I think the republican agenda is to remove any remaining power democrats may be holding on to within the government completely....it may sound like alarmist conspiracy theorist nonsense but thats what I believe from what I'm seeing today.

Well thats enough of my ramblings...what was I talking about anyway...?

Oh yeah....as far as wether or not I'm a democrat...well I'll be registering to vote soon and I plan to register with the democrats unless somebody is willing to convince me otherwise...but I dont see that happening. In some cases I'd of course be willing to vote republican provided the candidate they put forth is exceptional....like rudi guilliani I'd vote for him vs. pretty much anything the democrats can hope to come up with.

...thank you. I cant believe that a republican is actually endorsing a form of theocracy in our government. Thank you for proving my point about why I dislike the modern day republicans. In the old days, presidents were religious christians too they just had the good sense to keep quiet about it. Now religion is another tool to gain and weild power.

I'm confused ... half the time, you're talking about liberals, and the rest of the time, Democrats, which is it?

But the Democratic party is not a liberal party, or even close.

Why? Thats one of the reasons Kerry lost. He claimed to be a catholic but his actions said otherwise.
Then barely anyone, if anyone is a Catholic. If you have to meet the standards of the religion, no one, besides maybe the pope, but that's doubtful, is a true Catholic.

You sure could have fooled me. Now if your were to say the republican party isnt a conservative party I would agree with you.

    uhh yeah...i know.
thats why i said liberal sometimes and democrat at others

besides the democrats are liberals for america
even if they would be moderates in europe

Mudd the Crazy, I thought that you were a reasonable guy, and were just obsessed with your own ideals about Imperialism. Now that I have read your post..........well, I don't know what to say. Other than that your first post in this thread has caused me to lose all respect for your opinion on anything political. If you can't see beyond Bush and the Republicans even a little, then I feel sorry for you, comrade.
well you see my Imperialistic New World order will be conservative. i mean the republican party will back my military, economic and political hegemony over the world, followed by a conquest of those annoying nations that do not submit to my power
so i am an Imperialist. but i am also a republican imperialist. if that makes no sense to you than PM me and i will try to explain.
and i am not saying Bush is the greatest president there is, or even a good president. but liberals and more specifically the democrats are pathetic worms.

I was actually replying to the original poster of the thread who was advocating we get rid of the non-religious people
    that was a joke mister

Well wow Mudd...yeah well I think youre a good example of what wrong with Republicans. Although your ideas are unique and I dont believe I've ever heard any other republican make the same claims as you...I HAVE seen general republican tendency to want to virtually wipe out any remaining power democrats can have. Which I think is a traitorous action to our established traditions and a disgrace to our forefathers. Republicans who show contempt for competition...are not patriots at all, they are despots and fascists in disguise I think....but dont read too much into that.

I just think peoples personal view of God and religion should be kept out of government and political affairs.
Why? Thats one of the reasons Kerry lost. He claimed to be a catholic but his actions said otherwise.
