The Mod is set in medieval india in the year 1190, a land of balanced and intricate colourful kingdoms. From the shores of the tiny islamic kingdom to the Maldives to the mountains of Nepal kingdoms fluorish and prosper... but soon all is disturbed ... a large islamic invasion from the North West sent by the ghorid turks floods into parts of northern india. Nations must fight to survive or fall back against there fellow indians. Things begin to settle down for a time, things in the south are complex as the pandyas hoysala and chola all battle for supremacy. 50 years after the ghorid flood, a threat equally great appears as the Mongols invade through Tibet and into India. More problems for the Indians. Eventually in about 1390, the Timmurids also pay India a visit, casuing unimaginable destruction across North India. The campaign is long and complicated, the factions are varied and colourful, the land is exotic and the Warfare is glorious.

I have been thinking very much about such a campaign, It seems like a very attractive idea, there are so many attractive playable factions, imagine Nepal, tucked away in the mountains, Sri lanka and the maldives with there solid navy and trade structures. also the mongols and central indians as well as Turks and Timmurids. This seems like a very very agreeable campaign.

it is very clear what the aims of this mod are:

Members needed:

skilled modellers & any other skilled modders
who will help develop new units, culture & voice types for the Indian/Hindu factions

I can handle most coding & ui & other media (music) & mapping but help is vitally needed in unit models, strat models & culture/voice types for Indian/Hindu factions

I apologize for not being able to help directly, but I must say I am looking forward to this very much. I always wanted to play a mod that focuses on India primarily and I agree the setting is most interesting.

ehh...actually it does not only focuses on India but on the whole Pak-Indo continent(including Kashmir and Bangladesh),a bit of north-eastern Arabia(for the Islamic invasion) and Srilanka.

And if you know about the history of Medieval India than please help us.
