Won the campaign, can't play the factions.

Hi,

I just bought Medieval II off Steam and I finished the campaign the first time, which is meant to give me the rest of the factions, right? But it still only offers the five. Any help?

Conquer any factions? The last time I played vanilla, what-five years ago, now?, i thought you had to conquer the factions to unlock them.

You may wish to check some mods as the factions are unlocked there.

It's winning twice through with the Vanilla campaign that unlocks all factions. Here's a trick - load the last savegame you have before you won your last campaign. Win again. Factions unlocked - problem solved. Good luck!
