    Default Help, no marius reforms?

I am playing a Julii campaign and i finally am getting into a campaign that is fun. I have taken all of gaul and spain, and am at war with both briton and Germania. My main city (arretrim or something) just got enough population (24000) to build its first imperial palac, but once it was completed, no reforms!. I was under the impression that the trigger for the reforms was the first imperial palace? It has been more then 10 turns now since i got the upgrade so i was wondering whats the deal, do i have to restart my campaign?

The conditions for the reforms are: At least 220 B.C; an Imperial Palace in Italy. After that it's completely random.
Jeez, don't you people read your game manuals?

That happened to me with the Brutii. I built my Imperial Palace in Greece, and I first thought it was a bug in the game or something. I abandoned it.

    "At least 220 B.C."

That's not true. I've played as the Julli and when I built my Imperial Palace in Patavium the Marius reforms happened during about 232 B.C.

Must be getting the mods mixed up then. That's what it is in RTR.

It depends what the patch of the game is in 1.0 it is weneva an imperial palace is built, in 1.2 it is an Imperial palace built and after 220 bc but after that it is random and then in 1.5/ 1.3 it is an imperial palace in Italy

thats my problem, it is 207, i have an imperial palace in both patavium and arretrium, both of which are in italy. Is it just random? because man im tentative about builging new units that will just go to waste when the reforms happen (I don't like using mixed pre-post armies)

EDIT: and another strange thing, for somereason, i have just one praetorian cohort in one of my cities... but i cant recruit them anywhere. I don't know how it got there or when but its really wierd

EDIT 2: scratch that, I can build praetorian cohorts even though it is not reformed yet. I don't know whats going on lol

before anyone can help you you need to state which version of RTW are you playing and if you have any mods intalled. This will greatly clarify what is happenning in your game.

No that was a 1.2 bug that cant be done anymore in 1.3/1.5
The cohort is probably a gift from the senate
that you cant build them means you play 1.3 or 1.5 right
