    Default Diplomatic Relation

    I've got a question:

    How can you script an increase in diplomatic relations as an effect of a trait?

    You would have to have a monitor in the script testing for the presence of a trait.
    Having said that, pitfalls await all over the place.
    Best would be to test for the presence of a character with that trait in a range of regions, else it would be too general.

    Unless the trait can only be given to the leader, that makes things extremely easy to test for.

    Then never mind that.

    An other question: Is it possible to assign say just a quarter of a point to an ability (for instance chivalry) as an effect of a trait?

    For example:

    Effect Chivalry 0.25?

    Nope, needs full numbers. You might be thinking of building bonuses that are assigned in percentage steps.

    I've fixed it with a +1 Popularity bonus (as all the characters were getting way too Chivalrous).


    Edit: Great. Just found it it is LocalPopularity....
