You would have to have a monitor in the script testing for the presence of a trait.
Having said that, pitfalls await all over the place.
Best would be to test for the presence of a character with that trait in a range of regions, else it would be too general.
Unless the trait can only be given to the leader, that makes things extremely easy to test for.
Then never mind that.
An other question: Is it possible to assign say just a quarter of a point to an ability (for instance chivalry) as an effect of a trait?
For example:
Effect Chivalry 0.25?
I've fixed it with a +1 Popularity bonus (as all the characters were getting way too Chivalrous).
