STW Warlord Edition low resolution

I have a problem with my ShogunTW Warlord Edition (1.02). Graphics are locked at 800x600 in strategy and 640x480 in battle.

My graphic card : ATI HD4870 2Go
+Win XP (32bits)
+Core2 Duo Intel E8500 @3.16Ghz
+Screen Dell 1920x1200 resolution
+Later driver ATI

With no driver (windows defaut driver), i can select 1600x1200 resolution... But the game is too slow, jerkly, of course !

What can i do for correct this ?

Well, it's not your system, but the game from 2000
