Is there a way I can change my faction heir? I know in Rome you can change your heir.
And also what does each attribute give my general, like I know what command star means, More moral, but what does dread do, or chivery, or piety?

My little English Civil War Novel;
For King and Country
Play SS with this submod.![]()
Or send the unwanted heir directly into a pile of Italian Spear Militia. Of course that doesnt then guarantee that you get the replacement you actually want.
make a anquillary (don't know if I wrote it right) wich gives +5 authority and give it to the guy you want to be faction now either kill the leader of current heir apparant and you'll have your heir and after that just give the ancillary in advance to the new heir. It's not a hundred percent waterproof but at least it'll give you some sense about who is going to be the next heir
Edit: Just saw where your link was going to Ishan and that was what i was talking about![]()
Ishan's link doesn't work with vanilla however. I tried modding it to remove the the SS dependency, but it didn't seemed to take effect.
Eventually my faction leader, heir and bodyguards of the time threatened to strike if I were to send them to their deaths ineffectually one more time so I had to postpone my testing indefinitely.![]()
It has to be modded in vanilla it's fairly simple to do so.![]()
Or:
give_trait this Authoritarian 3 (side effect: he gets the epithet 'the Harsh'(
give_trait this FathersLegacy 3
If you want you can remove these traits once he becomes heir.
Something else you can do.
give_trait this "FactionHeir" 1
for the person to be the new faction heir
give_trait this "FactionHeir" 0
give_trait this "ExHeir" 1
for the current faction heir
Be careful. I did this for a Hungarian general I brought into the Imperial family, and when he became the next Kaiser the family tree display function literally broke.
what about that privy seal anlicary
The "old remedy" was to put the poor soul on a weak ship and attack pirates.
Attacking pirates is less reliable. It may be possible for even a single unit of rebel peasants to kill your unwanted heir by forcing him to move all the time, thus not allowing him and his bodyguards to attack the peasants whereas the peasants may.
