The Moorish Caliph has no armies anywhere near Italy, and doesnt intend to! Venice took Sicily from me, we have made no attempts or claims of having it back! Genoa (AI) has still 2 regions in Africa, these we are taking back!

The Caliph is saddened to see fellow muslims being led a merry dance by catholics, using them as puppets. The Fatamids are not true muslims, they instead are greedy and attack us solely to expand and to feed there greed.

Come to Africa, my muslim brother, and we shall bury you in the dirt!

This is not a matter of muslims or christians. It is a matter of protecting a weaker ally of yours against massive invasions. But if you say you have no intention for such a thing, i believe you. You will not see me attack your lands for a time until you provoke such an act.

The Calpih is most pleased to see sense prevail! As he stated from the start, his intentions are only to restore the african empire of our people, others wars and squabbles we do not wish to become involved in!
