Seleucids Camp No 6 - BI, H/H, 0 turn.
Not too sure where to begin with this one. Up to now the Roman legions would always attack, may be not on the first attempt for a river crossing always on the second and I would win but with terrible losses to all infantry units. As before the Roman legions are very well balanced.
However the last few turns they simply refuse to fight - one of my armies protecting a river crossing has been attacked by 6 different roman legions and on each occassion the Roman armies cross the river, and after a minor skirmish just flee. As I know the Roman armies are going to cause mass casualties, I've placed my units way back from the river edge on a hill that previously would not have stopped them from attacking. As another test I then went ahead and attacked a Roman army that had got too close and that simply ran away as well. I'm attaching both saved games so if someone can take a look and let me know why they just flee that would be great. The only change that I've made to my units is including a unit of Hypaspists's and Argyrasides Throkatai and that soem fo my armies are now gold armoured.

PS
I have 2 of my HA/Cavalry armies close to the Roman units and am going to see how well they do against an imperial Roman legion.
