Vista- 2.02 won't start

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything.

I'm a Vista user. After doing a clean install of M2TW, the 1.1 through 1.3 patches, and 2.02, the BC launcher said it couldn't completely install due to its inability to create a certain file (I don't remember the name). So I installed it successfully outside of the Program Files directory into a new folder as you recommended for Vista users. However, it wouldn't start when I asked it to- there was just the flicker of the little black box in the upper-left hand corner, and nothing happened. So, I cut-and-pasted my M2TW file from the Program Files to the new folder. No change.

What did I do wrong?

You need to install both M2TW and BC2.02 outside Program Files.
