Help with CPU/Motherboard Selection
I am in the process of updating my computer and deliberating between two set-ups:
1. Intel Core i7-2600K, Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz,
MB: MSI H67MA-E45 LGA
2. Intel Core i7-950, 3.06GHz, 8M, L3
MB: ASUS Rampage III Gene LGA
Any thoughts or recommendations on these 2 setups?
They are intended for a Micro setup - so heat development in important. Both CPUs are similar in price.
Do you have a better suggestion?
Your advise is greatly appreciated.

Re: Help with CPU/Motherboard Selection
I'd skip the Sandy Bridge just because it's new. Chances are there'll be some compatibility issues, and they'll release a new version of it a year or so down the road, and you'll be stuck with an obsolete one. It's a common trend when introducing new technology. That's what happened to me with my Pentium Dual Core.
