Oh, no, he's gonna get his stalk chopped off...that's gonna bleed a lot.

A character from my 1967+ Alternate Timeline, of which the CGU is a part of. This is the man that started the chain of events that eventually led to humanity being united (against him), and led to the CGU being formed (by his decendents).
Samuel James Lloyd, commonly referred to as "HACKER":

Born in 1967, Lloyd joined the army soon after high school, and was selected for a secret project which altered his body, giving him to ability to heal rapidly, and shrug off shrapnel. He could even survive grazes from rocket or grenade explosions. His strength and speed, as well as his senses, were enhanced tremendously. He became, essentially, a supersoldier. He fought in the US Army in the Gulf War with Murdock Jones, William Richards, Frederick Jaeger, and Patrick Simons. He and Simons were set up by the army and the government, and were imprisoned on trumped up charges of war crimes. The army didn't want thier "pet" to get too powerful. Jones and Richards retired and became successful hitmen, and Jaeger fell into obscurity. A couple years later, in 1993, he and Simons were put on temporary probation in order to attend the wedding ceremony of Jones to his longtime fiancee', Nicollette Welles. It had been arranged, however, by William Richards, that they would use (planted) firearms and kill (or at least try) Jones and Welles, as well as any witnesses. They failed, and Jones survived. Murdock "Nuke" Jones went on a rage-filled chase after Hacker and Simons. Simons was killed, but Hacker again escaped and tried to detonate a black-market nuclear weapon in NYC. "Nuke" Jones managed to stop him, but was comatised afterwards. Hacker fled to California, enacting "Plan B".
There, he took control of the many gangs in LA, and across the United States. In 1994, he took control of the mafias and larger organizations, using fear and charisma to keep them under his command. By the end of 1994, Hacker controlled all of the world's major criminal organizations, and soon many breakaway states formed, as countries large and small collapsed into civil war, caused entirely by the chaos and fear generated by Hacker's global syndicates. He managed to coerce several US Army and Russian Army generals and thier men to defect to his side, giving him much needed well-trained men and materiel. By March of 1995, his syndicate ruled over large territories, and controlled even more through puppet states. He was a warlord in every sense of the word. However, his aggressive and brutal ambition had galvanized the remnants of the UN into eliminating him, no matter the cost...

...okay, a bit long, but a good story, eh?
As I like to say, a good picture should have a good story to go with it.

The leader of the alien species that the CGU is fighting at the time of my story, the Zaaroft.

His Divine and Imperial Entity, Holy Lord Imperator Heiir Naj'Hariik.
He expanded the Zaaroft Imperium greatly, and has reigned for many hundred years by the time the war begins in 6288. His prowess in military matters is almost as great as his wisdom. However, as much as he has conquered, he feels that this war with the humans is becoming a war they simply cannot win...

Thanks. Me and my friends are actually writing a novel with the Zaaroft War being the backdrop of the story, and with the CGU as the protagonists (gasp! yes, the totalitarians are the protagonists).

Yet another Propaganda Poster of the CGU. Specifically, a recruitment poster for the National Order of the Stormguard.

Basically, the SS allegory of the CGU. Except, they are direct part of the government, established by the constitution, NOT a part of any political party, as political parties are verboten in the CGU. However, like the SS, they are the main organ of internal security, and many government functionaries hold SG Rank. The Reichsführer-SG is Frederick Voss, co-owner of Blohm und Voss Shipyards, the primary manufacturer of naval starships.
The Leibfahne Guards division of the SG protect major political figures of the CGU, including the Dictator-Führer and the Deputy-Führer. Another part of the SG is the Waffen-SG, tasked with supporting the army in ground actions. In addition, there are the Alien Popluation Recalibration Groups, mainly the TKVB, which carry out the grisly and grim duty of "recalibrating" alien populations.

Zaaroft Holy Guard:

The Holy Lord of the Zaaroft, as well as the Zaaroft Imperium's commanding officers, like Warlord Psylias, are guarded by these soldiers. Chosen from the best of the best of the Djurri population of the zaaroft, the Holy Guard are well-trained, well-armed, and heavily armored. They carry massive beam lances, an evolution of thier energy sword weapons. Thier energy shields have three layers, allowing them to survive massive punishement from enemy weapons.
