I recently saw a pic of a Napoleon TW battle that had units of 720 men and I'm wondering if the same can be done for Medieaval TW?

I am not sure what the limit is, but you can change the size of a unit by going into the Data file of your M2tw folder. You will find a file called export_desrc_unit.txt. It lists all the units in the game, including all their stats, faction available to, attributes, and SIZE...
Go over the top of the file, and probably be a good idea to save a back-up of the original. You may have to unpack your files first depending...
But yah you can assign whatever you want for a unit's size.
But you can also go to the options in the game, and increase unit sizes from Small to Very large, canīt you?

well yes you can, but I think what he was asking was about how to create your own size per unit. in the game I'm playing, some of the mercenaries have their unit size outside the typical sizes used in game. for instance, in north africa merc arab cavalry are available that come in a 92 man unit, instead of the normal 60 (when playing on large unit scale)...
I've never tried maxing out the unit size though, but yah for the member who started this post --- What I forgot to say properly, was read the top of that export_desrc_unit.txt because it explains what each row of text/numbers/code below the units listed correlates to in the game.
I think the maximum number of units is 250.
In Kingdoms, not in regular M2TW. In regular, the maximum is 150 plus officers.
Many thanks all, export_desrc_unit.txt here I come!
lol in third age i just played a battle of 15000vs 20000, compare to when everybody fainted where they heard of a 10,000 strong army in lord of the rings
The max is 253 (3 officers at max) per unit giving us a total of 253x20=5060 per full stack.
