Shogun total war gold edition crash

Hello,

I brougt shogun total war gold edition.
I installed it and start to play.
after a hour playing, the game stopped.
I reload the last saveand start to play. The game stop at the same action.

The action is using a ninja to kill a taisho. This action was made earlier in the game and didn't pose any problem.

I saw in the forum to set the configuration screen in 1024x768. I did that in the screen option and in the game option. The problem still.

My configuration :
Windows vista SP2
ATI Radeon HD 4800 series
Intel core 2 duo E8400 3.00GHz

Go into options and disable event movies, then try ordering an assassination again.
