My bet is that the original diagnosis was incorrect, despite what those doctors decided. Also, does it have to be called a miracle and be attributed to a pope just because of coincidence? I really don't see how that's conclusive. I would reckon that sainthood is just a status that a lot of very influential people want the former pope to achieve, nothing more.
