Default Number of different unit-types in M2TW vanilla?

    Hey everybody,

could anyone tell me the exact number of different unit-types in Medieval 2.
The database at Warlore says, that there are 412 units and in the document by Forlonhope I count 273 units. What's the right figure?

    Thx

I donīt know exactly, but the 273 units is probably for vanilla alone, and the 412 units is probably for vanilla + Kingdoms expansion pack.

I just answered without checking this up, so I could be all off, but that makes sense to me...

Even though many of the troops have different names and stats...there's really just a few basic units because a lot of the units have different names, they use the same texture base and simillar or identical stats.

Check out this site, http://totalwar.honga.net/versions.php , it has m2tw and empire plus many of the most popular mods for each and the units they add. It's better than Warlore in my opinion

413 units in vanilla alone including ships & historical units like king henry etc in historical battles.
