I have made two videos and posted them here for those that still need help with the install. Hopefully this can end the countless "Help its not installing" posts.

Thxs but I would like more feed back, from anybody that has used this. If it truly helped, I would make more when needed. If it did not well.....

Fix for english isn't necessery if you have 1.4.1 translation I guess. I instaled again COW (do the same as previous also watching on your video - I did it correctly last time) but there is still CTD especially during fights. I'll try to download torrent that you can simply copy and paste all COW. However it seems that thre is other reason of CTD.

Thanks for the instructional vids. However, you know the sticky that is posted of the dld page? Well it says with an update from Jan 8 that the dld is now the COW 1.4.1 with translation. Would I just go ahead and dld from that or is it missing the things that are in your vids? Like the sound fix and menu fix. What ya think RedDwarf?

Ah yes I see that they do have 1.41 that comes with translation. So you probly do not need menu fix or the 1.41 translation. But if you follow my guide, for both 1.4, 1.41 with translation and sound patch 1.01 you should have no problems with game other than the standerd bugs. Also your welcome

All righty then. Today I will dld COW from official site and follow your directions RedDwarf. I'll let ya know what happens afterwards. Usually I don't get alot of the standard bugs that others get. Also, I have noticed on your vids there were folders that said COW1.4.2 and COW1.4.3? I spec there will be further patches to make fixes and such. I have read somewhere about 1.4.2 already being worked on, but how sure I am not. Anyway I best gettir done.


Well scratch all that.... My comp is too old for the dld links of COW. Now if it were on filefront in parts my comp can handle it, but from filesonic and the torrents, no dice. Oh well, it was a good try anyway. Thanks again for all your help RedDwarf. Maybe in the near future someone will have the whole COW mod and all its patches and english translations uploaded on filefront in parts so an old comp like mine waon't have to tax itself too hard to dld the mod. Just a wish thats all. Peace! I'm gone.

i'll watch the videos a few more times and then take a crack at it.never done any of this torrent stuff before so if your vids work on me they'll work on anyone!

Hope it helped. Also you can pause video. So each step can be followed as its played

Im sorry if this has been asked before, i havent seen it. But what does the music patch actually do? Im itching to start playing this after having to odwnload just 1.4 for 2 days in parts (i can do the 1 file options) and am wondering if i can just get away with downloading 1.4 then the 1.4.1 patch without anything else?

EDIT: plus, filesonic only gives me the option to upgrade to premium downloading, or am i just not seeing something? Which means i cant download the english translation!
