So, how is YOUR campaign going?
Which changes of 6.4 do you like/dislike?
How fast were you with the expanding?
And last but not least:
Anyone have a huge city or a citadel already? (with no cheating)

The new recruitable generals was a great idea, loving that aspect.
Wow! Quick turns with BGR 4!
France on H/H huge unit size. Savage AI, RC/RR, all other options off. About 40-50 turns in, so far lots of fun and nothing out of the ordinary to report. No crashes.
Playing straight 6.4 on clean install.
Only mods to this was removing the new vegetation, trade boats, making battlefield boundary lines more transparent and changing some music. So only "cosmetic" changes.

Remove the "new vegetation" folder. No harm done, just reverts back to default. Too many flowers for me with the new one.
And... you can remove the Ships folder, I think it's under aerial_terrain and you'll get the original small boats back, which for some reason I like better than the big ones. Also deleting the map.rwm file after the changes helps clear the cache, no harm done there either. Hope this helps, sorry not at home to double check folder locations.
The battles are so smooth...I haven't had a crash yet...the graphics seem better...the game finally seems to be using my system instead of abusing it. I was playing Broken Crescent yesterday and this totally blows it away.
6X speed is actually 6X speed...
Gracul, I LOVE THIS GAMEAbsolutely brilliant work my friend, Kudos to you and the team!
Well, Im playing with Poland, late era, Savage AI, VH/VH ofc.
Turn number 23. I have 13 regions already (thanks to my cavalry, gotta love them hehe). Completed the 1st crusade capturing Vilnius. The pope is my bud, allied with him easily. At war with Lithuania, Kiev and Denmark at this very moment.
Norway besieged Stettin so i was quite a bit suprised lol.
And yes, i do have Huge City ... that is Constantinople ... it was so tempting and there is a lot of silk. Once i took Constantinople i found there is no Merchant Guild haha - another suprise, nice![]()
The campaign looks absolutely great, HRE is superpower, very very strong and in favor of pope! ...though they will drop soon prolly as they are attacking west, south and north. The Turks are another superpower, the Romans are under huge pressure fighting the Turks, Crusaders and Sicily at the moment and down to 5 regions. Mongols seems to be allright , i mean 650 000 warriors in 23 turns, now thats the hordeStorming Kwarezmians like there is no tomorrow!
OK, well, i love everything implemented, but probably most the fact the cities and castles doesn't grow that fast, its much harder! Thanks for that.
Another big plus - Mongols. It is obvious next game i will start with Turks.
I really like the improved agent activity, foreign priests and so. Heretics are pain in the arse ... but ... we were warned
So far, the game seems perfect ... or ... almost perfect ... all i need is Royal Court Ladies sub-mod. Once again, many thanks for all the efforts Gracul, i hope you will never stop
Oh, there was a notice about reduced religious orders buildings availability.
Could you please shed some light on that ?

Maybe it's on purpose but is anyone else getting In Defiance of Orders summons for simply defending sieges on home territories? I thought you can always defend your own land? Also, I've never figured out the pardon system so it is especially crippling to my campaigns...the "?" button never seems clickable.
You are right. Are you sure that that is the order that was defied?
I haven't changed the code from before so I can't help, but are you sure you have it properly installed? Or maybe some bits were cut accidentally when merging it into 6.4?
I can't really add anything regarding pardons that isn't in the instructions already I'm afraid.

Everything else seems to be working...as for the Defiance of Orders, it was because my king called for a Chivalrous Code...I must've sacked a city or tried to sell captured soliders...although I just had to kill my king after my prince and another general were sitting in the capital for 6+ turns and nothing ever happened...I tried to click the "?" in the capital, outside the capital, with other soliders in the party, when they were all alone...nothing worked.
That's all ok then. This isn't really the place to have this discussion but as you are here..
As for the pardoning, are you sure your situation complies with the bold text below? From what you have written it sounds like your offenders (I'm assuming your heir and the other general were the offenders- you don't say) are not in breach of an order. If they were summoned (I'm assuming they were summoned- you don't say) and they are in or close to the capital then they are not in breach of their punishment order so you cannot pardon them.
Pardoning Offenders
"Use the "?" buttons on your character information scrolls when they are in the field (not in a settlement) or right click any ordinary unit's card then click the "?" on that unit's scroll. There are pros and cons attached to issuing a general pardon.
You can only issue a pardon whilst there is current unrest due to:
Breaking orders and not having yet complied with the punishment order, i.e.
your general is banished, but is currently on home territory for more than a turn
or your general has been summoned to the capital , but is not there yet.
..... etc "
Was the "In defiance of Orders" trait still present for the offenders after they had been in or nr the capital for a turn? If so then something is wrong.
Pls reply in the BGR thread as I may not look here again.

So let me get this straight in the previous ver of SS if you are excomunicated and you have a general with let's say 1000 an inquisitor can still Sentence(Kil) Him altough he already he's liege and he Defy pope ? I could understand- The Antipope
With the excommunication of HRE or France, their faction gets an Antipope - a priest who made a claim to be the Pope and is supported by a large faction in the church.
The Antipope is a godly buffed priest, who helps mostly in battling the inquisitors.
Station your Antipope(or any priest with piety more then 7) next to an inquisitor, and the next turn his piety will drop with a good chance.
The Antipope is designed for this, due to his massive movement boost!
This will help your generals survive an inquisitor onslaughtlike this in a vannila but in such'a mod ?
So far:
+ more stability
+ seems to have better performance at little or no cost to video quality (higher fps in battles)
+ harder to grow cities/castles
+ much faster turns (about 15s on average in early-game)
+ Lusted AI works well (good diplomacy, AI isn't going nuts with wars and/or backstabs)
- stack spam
- stack spam
- more stacks
- more stack spam
- OH GOD HOW CAN HE HAVE SO MANY GODDAMNED STACKS EVERY FREAKING TURN
- stack spam is very bad
My 6.4 Aragon campaign is ruined because of stack spam, while my English campaign is ruined because I managed to conquer Scotland thanks to...having more stacks of units than they had.
Overall? Fantastic mod, except for one big flaw.
Fear is the mother of defeat.Tranquility is courage in repose. Courage is confidence in action.
Hmmm, I'm playing as France on H/H with Savage AI and RC/RR (huge units) and I don't see the stack spam at all. Interesting, wonder what is happening? I mean I've got a couple stacks I'm working with here and there but haven't seen any really from the AI yet. I'm not too far in though maybe 40-50 turns.
