Have you changed the default.cfg file?
The system.log should be showing an error if you are getting a CTD...
Open the default.cfg in wordpad, or something,
look under "[log]", and check what it says there.
If it doesn't have this line:
level=* error
add it in under [log].
Odd, I can't imagine why there was no error in the log you posted...
I'm stumped regarding that.
Try putting the Outremer swordsmen back in the EDB, and if that doesn't work,
ask BG what to do.
, Well:
1)try to reinstall SS 6.4 clean, don't add anything. Turn your UAC to off before installing SS (if it's Window 7 or Vista).
2)Now, in the setup, choose your AI, just choose this setup for starting.
3)Now try SS if it works properly.
4)If so, download the updated version at the first post, both parts.
5)Merge both folders to make one.
6)Merge the data submod folder with the SS data folder. Say Yes to all.
7)Download the fixes I upload.
8)Merge the fixes folder with the SS data that you previously merged the submod with it.
9)Say yes to all.
1) Now try it. It should work.
does this work in the late campaign?
BG, I have your submod working in Late era, but it took some customization on my part to do it.
I think that the reason your submod CTD's might be an error in the battlemodels.modeldb...
I had to remove the entries for "marshall_of_the_hospitallers", and then it worked fine, with no CTDs,
so you might want to check that entry in your BM.MDB.
EDIT:
Try using KnightErrant's battlemodels.modelDB checker for Kingdoms, here's the link:
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downl...o=file&id=1180
You'll need either Python or Matlab to use it though, good thing
Python is freeware.

Woot! Hoping this is save game compatible ^ ^
Maybe it was just my heavily-modded BMDB.
I dunno.
I'm also getting CTDs with the new version, I've reinstalled SS6.4 3 times to no avail now, any idea what's causing it? :/
What systemlog? Where is it?
Finally..lot of scripts but now it should be good.
The BG Submod Late Version is out!!
How to install:
1)Download the submod parts at the first post.
2)Merge both folders to create one.
3)Go to the setup.exe in SS 6.3 and run it and choose Late campaign.
4)Now merge the new folder with SS data folder and say yes to all replacement.
5)Now download the submod folder attached to this post.
6)Take the downloaded data folder and merge it with your SS data folder
7)Now play with it . If you follow all these steps in order, you shouldn't have problems.
Note: Remember, install the submod only on a vanilla SS 6.4 (no submods added except those from the vanilla version).
