    -All new customized rosters.

(Superior, Early Professional)

    Veiğimenn
These men are retired Norse or men preferring to train themselves into the art of the bow. They are excellent hunters, loving to ambush their enemies. Using a longbow and wearing mail armor, these units can be effective in melee as well. They are professional archers that shouldn't be underestimated. (Superior Early Professional)

    Væpnere
Or sometimes referred as Svenner are wealthy farmers or low-born nobles woh have the task to provides a force of cavalry. They are excellent to chase archers but are quite poor as cavalrymen since the Norse didn't really have horsemen culture because of their landscape and weathers. Still, they are professional, similar as the Western sergeants. (Average Early Professional)

    Leidangr
Every man in Scandinavia has to own a weapon and be ready to fight when they are called. The Leidangr are levy ready to fight to defend their homeland. They are superior to the other levy or militia of the Western kingdoms and are really numerous. They are the main militia of Scandinavia. (Militia)

The Landvarnamenn was a new system introduced in Scandinavia in the 13th century but was a certain failure to hold that system. Nevertheless, they are trained militia, more equipped as the Leidangr but less numerous than their counterpart. (Militia)

    Upgraded Version

    Sverdstafs Landvarnamenn
The Landvarnamenn has also being trained to use the Sverdstafs, a weapon made of a sword-like blade on top of a wooden staff. This weapon is particualrly effective to hold the infantry at bay as well dealing against cavalry. But, they are slow to move. (Militia)

    -Galloglaich: added.

    Crusader States

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Now, forget the old roster, this one is the most interesting from all the other rosters I've done so far. The Crusader States is much more powerful. They have many and different troops. They possesses the strength of the Hospitaller, the Templar and the Teutonic Orders.
-All the Order's guild from vanilla is removed for the Crusader States.
-Four new Order buildings. The CS can choose between the four religious Orders in the Crusade period. You must de3cide wisely, when you choose one Order, you can't build the other ones in the settlement.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
-Order of St. Lazarus: 2 buildings, will let you recruit the Knights of St. Lazarus, it also gives some improvement to health public and retraining cost.
-Order of the Templars: 4 buildings, let you recruit the templar sergeants, Templar Confrère Knights, the Knights Templars and the Mightly Marshall of the Templars. Give some trading boost.
-Order of the Hospitaller: 4 buildings, let you recruit the Hospitaller sergeants, Hospitaller Heavy Crossbowmen, Hospitaller Knights and the powerful Marshall of the Hospitallers. It also gives some Health bonus.
-Teutonic Order Brotherhood: 3 Buildings, let you recruit the Teutonic Sergeants, the Halbbrudern and the Ritterbrudern. It also gives conversion bonus and Law bonus.

-Jerusalem, the greatest piece of the Holy Land and capital of the CS. Several units are linked to this settlement. Once you lose it, these units cannot be recruited or their recruitment pool take a severe blow. So try to keep this city as much as you can.
-Constable of Jerusalem is a unique unit. You can only have one unit and it spawns when Jerusalem upgrades to the Huge city.
-Guards of Jerusalem: Professional spearmen, they fight with a two-handed spear. Linked to Jerusalem
-Outremer Cavalry/Swordsmen: Professional troops from the CS. Linked to Jerusalem
-Knights of Jerusalem: Elite professional troops. Linked to Jerusalem.
-Turkopole/Turkopole archers; They are local units from the CS.
-Heavy Turkopole/Heavy Turkopole archers: Early professional auxillaries.
-Templar guard moved to the Dome of rock.
-Nobles of Jerusalem: They are the feudal troops of the CS, they are devastating but lack of armor upgrade.

    General:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
All the feudal footmen are recruitable at the same tier as the mounted units. New refill rate for the feudal units.

I hope you'll have fun because I didn't have tested yet, so you're the one who say what I need to improve.

Wow these are great!!! Much improved,

    for Scotland:

Looks like there might be a problem with the models for noble_body guard or Noble retuine for scotland, getting no models on screen for the plate armour ones , and for the next level below, the heavy mail. (silver armour upgrade in the battle screen)

In the latest download there appears to be 2 files with matching data, I am not sure which one we are supposed to put in?

I know one of them worked with the early campaign, but I got the invisible generals unit again when I went to custom battles. So I treid using the other EDU and the game would not load

Can you make the download consist of just one type of file for each overwrite? I get confused easy, keep in mind.
When you merge the data folder of the game with the downloaded data folder, just replace every files by saying yes to all, it suppose to works now with these replacements.

Great looking units, especially the chivalric foot knights I also liked the making of Clansmen superior.

The only issue I found was an inability to recruit the new noble_ generals bodyguard from castles. I added population to Inverness so I would have the fortress upgrade and I did not see any generals to recruit?

It was on purpose, it's historical, in late period, Scotland use mounted bodyguard. The early period, they use a foot bodyguard. It's the influence of France, Norman that changes the concept of Scotland's bodyguard.

I can't find the foot bodyguard during the early period with a fortress upgrade is what I meant to say. All the units that are recruitable are supposed to be there except that one unit. I think you need to add Scotland's noble_bodyguard foot soldiers to the early period. I think they are not listed in the custom battles screen as an early period unit. Or I am confused which is possible

As I say, I did it on purpose because the time frame of one turn is one year. Gracul made GB recruitable in Fortress and Citadel. he saids it will take some time to recruit them and with the timeframe, it should be late enough to recruit the late GB in plate. But you could do it by yourself if you wish.

I guess my point would be that, Scotland would be the only faction without the ability to recruit generals in the early period, If it were to happen that they got a fortress early, but I have not tested 6.4 enough to know how the population numbers work out etc. I always play 2TPY, so it might be different.

by the way thanks again for this mod!!!!

How would I add the generals to fortress in early period?
