Default Differences with modding in BI?

Are there any major differences between Vanilla and BI modding? Also, what are the important .txt files in BI? I've tried to find the BI unit file, but have not had any success.

Not really. All the Bi files are in data\BI\data etc.

Except some, Lusted, which are referenced from the Rome data folder. However, most of these can be copied across to the BI data folder and modded from there. BI will read them in preference to their Rome data folder counterparts.
