    Default Shogun 2 requirements HELP!!

    Here are the minimum system reqs:

    Total War: Shogun 2 Minimum System Requirements
    CPU - 2GHz Intel Dual Core processor, 2.6GHz Intel Single Core processor , or AMD equivalent (with SSE2)
    MEMORY - 1GB RAM (XP), 2GB RAM (Vista/Windows7)
    VIDEO - 256 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card (shader model 3)
    HARD DRIVE - 20GB free hard disk space
    OTHER DETAILS - 1024×768 minimum screen resolution

    Can I at least squeak by on this without causing any damage to my pc (mainly can I run the 2.6Ghz req on 2.4Ghz)? I can run ETW and NTW on ultra settings if that helps. Oh, and thank you to those who had the patience to wade through all those stats. teehee

    That 2.6 ghz requirement was for single-core processors. You have a dual core(better). You should be fine.

    CPU is fine & at what resolution you play these games?

    You will be able to run it on about med-high settings. Your CPU will be fine but it may lag a little on ultra. Just see how you go and tweak the settings a little as you go.
