    Did you install the old JEBMMP or the 1.1 alpha?
    It seems you and Aaron are having the same issue. I think the email notifications for replies to this thread go to my spam folder, cause I didn't get any for Aaron's reply.
    I think it's an Alexander shortcut issue. Can you show me the properties of the shortcut you are using?

    I installed the "JEBMMP for Alexander 1.0.3", then the "ExTSO 1.1 Build 3" and finally the "JEBMMP 1.1-a2h1", in this order.

    The second time I installed the "JEBMMP for Alexander 1.0.3", then the "JEBMMP 1.1-a2h1" and finally the "ExTSO 1.1 Build 3", in this order.

    The game gives that error both launching it with the trivial script and manually creating a shortcut with these parameters: -mod:eb -show_err -nm -noalexander

    Don't install JEBMMP 1.1 a2h1. It's a hotfix for JEBMMP 1.1. Version 1.1 is not compatible with 1.0 versions! You can either get the old 1.0 versions or the alpha 1.1 with almost no mods. Try without installing the 1.1-a2h1 and let me know if it works!

    Hello. I got the mod working, finally. I was just wondering, i was reading a few pages back that roma surrectum legions are bugged and don't show up? If so, what models do the imperial legions use? Thanks, and what a brilliant mod pack you have created.

    I have no idea. Haha. I made this a decade ago. I use my 1.1 alpha now, which just has fixes, and few mods, but has been in development for almost a decade too.

    I managed to get it working by installing just the 1.0.3 version with the fixes. So, if I want to try 1.1, I have to uninstall 1.0.3 and then install 1.1 alpha?

    Hmm. What you could do is install 1.0.3, and then install ExTSO, but replace the files in EB/data/sp game edu backup/common with those of 1.0.3.

    Because most of 1.1 is already in 1.0.3, except for the fixes found in the download post.

    Is it just me or does this submod mess with some vanilla RTW/BI game files? After installing my vanilla BI exe crashes when loading, same as my other mod (XC) which uses the BI exe.

    Could i also ask if the immortal trait been disabled? Thanks Jirisys.

    The only files it overwrites are the battlefield and stratmap borders, which can be reverted with one of the minor fixes listed at the top. Here's the exact files:

    Hello, Jirisys,

    Sorry I didn't went back to you before. I guess that you were in a holiday and that's why you took too long to write and I eventually decided to let go and try to mess with the submod myself (lol). I don't know what I did exactly but I installed the modpack 1.0.3, then the fixes and then the ExTSO 1.1 Build 3 and... well, it worked!

    However... the Force Diplomacy mod never worked in my current campaign and in multiplayer, it seems that the Roma Surrectum II legions are not showing up. I don't know if it has to do with the ExTSO launcher or what. But overall, it seems that I'm having a functional game so far.

    Another thing I noticed while I did the installation. The only submod I've noticed it was installed, was the village submod was the only one activated and maybe the realistic movement. It seems that I incorrectly installed your mod, because while EB seems to be working, most of the submods of your pack are not.

    Hi. The RS legions might be due to ExTSO. You can check if the files in \EB\sp game edu backup\common (or alex or rtw) are the same as the JEBMMP files. The Force Diplomacy I'm not really sure. Might just have never worked in the mod pack, since I don't remember that ExTSO replaces the advisor script.

    Hmm. Maybe check if your EB\data folder has an EB\ folder within, or if an EB folder is misplaced somewhere. That shouldn't happen. Do you at least have the splash screen?

    Just checked it. No EB folder within the EB\data.

    Last night I tried to mess around a little bit more with it and I found out that even if I replace the original export_descr_unit file with the one with RSII Legions located at the "sp edu backup" folder, it doesn't fix the issue. On the contrary, it makes EB crash without starting.

    Is there any way to revert back to units like Hoplites using their spears in an overarm grip like they did in vanilla EB, instead of a phalanx?
