Unmodded, those elephants destroy massive armies in normal play as well, at least when a human is in control. They should probably be made weaker in both battlefield and AR.
playing with sindh could be horror, especially when i attack a rajput city. the generals guard (sometimes 12 elephants) are like a second gate. On the other hand their upkeep is very expensive. When i am playing rajput the generals driving me to ruin.

Well, don't know about overpowered units, but in general Archery units are underpowered in autoresolve, don't know exactly why. Playing with Turks for instance, forces you to fight on the battlefield every single battle or you can have 200 casualties in autoresolve against some rebel spearmen you can kill yourself with 2-3 casualties.

My encounter experiencing AR for first time in mod was at Edessa, my besieged 8 stacks vs 4 got horribly depleted to a close draw. After I reloaded the game to try again the AI reinforced and even sent tougher units :S

Archers suck in autoresolve because their lack in defence. I think is a criterium for AR.

From what i heard , the cavalry could be a little OP in AR . Dunno which units .
The crusaders have some strong cav .

Units with more than 1 hp are overpowered unless you do proper balancing with secondary HPs. This was done in the 3.0 style EDU.

I am not sure, but the last time I checked knights were extremely underpowered in auto resolve. Their powerful charge decimates infantry units far larger in size with minimal casualties. Auto resolve does not seem to take that into account.
If i use the EDU from BC 3.0 the problems with AR will be over ?
