No, it was in an army (outside a settlement) near Nicaea. If you play as the Byzantines and there is no human Seljuk player, the Seljuks get a big army under a Captain Kasim, which starts right next to Nicaea. Captain Kasim usually gets promoted to become a family member sometime during the first turn, and what you see in the picture I sent earlier is the army he usually has by Turn 2. Here is the army as it starts on Turn 1; I left the rest of the screenshot this time so you can see the context more clearly (sorry for not doing that last time).
is it a bug for a governor to have both "hiliarches" and "leader pays no attention"? hiliarches means he war promoted.
my governor has just received both.
'pays no attention' is another family of traits, so you can have both
the skin for janissary heavy infantry for the moors doesnt work. all the men in it have the all-silver skin.
good call on the corinth issue. that definitely needs fixing
Enable trace logging by opening up default.cfg and removing the semi-colon in front of "level=* trace"
Try launching the game again to create a new log, then upload your system.log here (compress it first)
where is default.cfg? i searched my pc and all i get is a file named system.log and when i try to open it notepad does that annoying windows "(not repsonding)" thing
In your SS folder.
ooooh theres just no .cfg on the end of the file name. my bad XD
To see the extensions in all your files in your PC you have to do this:-
Click on my computer go in tools>Folder Options.
A box will pop up then click on view tab and deselect the "hide extensions of known file types" option.
Also while at it click on the show hidden folders option also that will display the virtual store folder some people have trouble finding it.
Spoiler for Pic:
I've played as the English and the Venetians and both times I have had my bishop get the "Anti-Pope" trait, EVERY SINGEL TURN, starting from turn one. Even when I'm not excommunicated nor do I have bad relations with the Pope, (also England/Venice I thought CANNOT get the Anti-Pope trait...). But, my bishop dosen't actually get the trait, he only gets the extra movement, and it doesn't say that he has it on his list of traits. I'm playing with Meneth submod, and SS Historical Character Project.
Also I'm playing on M/M but my coffers keep swelling like crazy! I'm playing as England, and for some reason I'm still able to make a ton-o-cash

Hi, here my probleme, I launch SS 1.4, then I choose a faction, click on Start, and then, nothing, the campaign doesn't start, no error, no crash, the game just go back to main principal.
I've got a steam version of MTW2, a cracked one of Kingdoms, I also have the mod Broken Crescent, and I'm on Windows 7.
England is the easiest faction. You'll be making lots of money until you replace the militia and fyrd with professional troops.
Sorry, no help for you with a cracked game.
I believe it's your cracked game that's causing the problem![]()
